DENISE
SILVERMAN
I've spent more than 20 years bringing people together, creating experiences, and making it look effortless.
I've built event production businesses from the ground up, managed multi-million dollar budgets, and produced everything from intimate dinners to brand activations to large-scale, multi-day programs for thousands of guests. Along the way I've led teams, restructured organizations, and built and sold companies — so I understand both the creative and business sides of this work.
These days I partner with brands, organizations, and passionate people who need an experienced hand — for a single signature event or longer-term operational support.
If you could use a collaborator who's seen a lot and sweats the small stuff, I'd love to connect.

ABOUT DENISE
Hailing from New York, Denise began her career in journalism and public relations. It was there that she discovered a passion for events - one that led her to launch her own event production company when she relocated to Austin in 2002 . . . and grew it into one of Austin's most respect event production agencies. In 2009, she merged her business with another highly reputable local agency, and expanded their portfolio to include social, corporate, non-profit, and destination management events.
In 2020 - after successfully selling her company - Denise accepted the role as Executive Director of the Austin Wine & Food Foundation - an events-driven non-profit organization. There, she led a team that produced 50+ ticketed events annually, including intimate tastings, group dinners, brand activations, and large-scale, multi-day programs. During her tenure, she implemented new marketing and brand strategies, grew the team, and increased revenues by 70%.
After 20+ years in Austin, Denise and her family decided it was time to head back to the northeast. Denise now resides in Philadelphia with her husband, Mike, their dog, Callie, and their college-aged son - who comes home for holidays and home-cooked meals. She loves exploring all that Philadelphia has to offer, visiting new restaurants, listening to records, and has a WSET Level III wine certification. She still loves her NY sports teams, but will say "Go Birds" because it makes Philadelphians happy.
